Fathers 4 Justice commissioned polling for International Men’s Day 2023 to draw attention to the issues facing men in the 21st Century, to raise awareness, and to test support for a Minister for Men. The poll was covered in the Daily Express and The Daily Mirror.

• Seventy-two percent supported the idea of a ‘Minister for Men’, a Government minister tasked with promoting issues that disproportionately affect men across Government (excluding ‘don’t knows’)

• Sixty-two percent of respondents noted the positive role of Fathers in society, and 71% said it was better to grow up with than without a father at home.

• Sixty percent knew of several or many people who had grown up without a Father at home

• Tragically, 31% of respondents knew at least one man who had committed suicide.
